commsHERO was born out of the idea of making communications and PR conferences more accessible, we wanted to get away from the idea that all events must happen in London. Before the Covid-19 pandemic, CommsHero put on small events throughout the year in different locations across the UK, bringing comms professionals together and making conferences more accessible.

Since 2020, commsHERO has been holding annual week-long virtual conferences where attendees can join from the comfort of their home, from the office or from across the globe! Taking commsHERO virtual has made the community more accessible than ever.

commsHERO Week 2023 was our big yearly event that featured an epic line-up of 70 fantastic speakers from across different industries. Throughout the week 50 live sessions were run, which were all available on demand for attendees who couldn’t make it on the day. Held both in-person in Manchester and virtually, we covered a wide range of topics ranging from Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion to Crisis Comms, ESG and Sustainability.

Our week-long comms conference included:
• Over 40 sessions throughout the week
• A diverse speaker line-up covering a huge variety of topics.
• Content on-demand for 12 months post event
• Virtual attendance – 4 days of live streamed content
